The current series of Celebrity Big Bother is now under way with another
mixed bunch of people claiming celebrity status, rightly or wrongly for
once reason or another.
There is a lot of speculation about which other "A" or "B" listers are to
be thrown in over the next few weeks and also a big foray over the following series
later this year of normal Big Brother (if there's such a thing).
The Big Brother House is set to be the raciest and most
controversial it's ever
been this year as roomers are rife at the moment that Channel 5 who
re-launched Endermol's Big Brother last year with two very successful
reincarnations, are now planning to hold it's very first wedding live from
the Big Brother House in Borehamwood. The civilian version
is being geared up for a genuine lesbian couple to tie the knot in front of millions
of viewers. A spokesman from Endemol was not available for questions but
sources close to the production team have told us on top of that, both
of the lesbians are to be given away by their former shared male partner
and former husband. The couple are both University Graduates with
psychology and business degrees, both have been involved in the glamour
industry, one as a former model and the other as a leading glamour
photographer and both in their mid twenties. While one of them has been
previously married to a teacher, they have both also shared a male
partner in the past who was also involved in the glamour industry. The
parents of each of the girls are totally unaware of the planned events
and are also not aware of their daughters sexual orientation. What's
more they are barred from attending the ceremony.
Channel 5 have repeatedly said the overall format of each
series of Big Brother in either version are solely down to Endemol and
is a closely guarded secret. So long as the overall guidelines set out
be the broadcasting standards committee are adhered to for each show, we
are more than happy for Endermol to carry on producing Big Brother for
us.
Brian Dowling the new host of Big Brother laughed of any
suggestion of a wedding or civil ceremony, saying "I would be the one
who would get married on it first anyway". Big Brother has had some
role-play and joke weddings in the past but the one planned for the next
show is for real, said our source.
